A dead outlet, a fan that stopped, a breaker that keeps tripping. r-innovation handles the small electrical work across metro Atlanta. The small electrical work that every house in metro Atlanta needs eventually, without the two-week wait for an electrical contractor who would rather be wiring a new build.

Five Electrical Calls We Take Every Week

Wobbling, humming, stuck on one speed, or dead. It is almost never the fan itself. Usually it is the mount, a capacitor or the wall switch, and none of those need the new fan somebody is about to sell you.

A new fan, or swapping out a light fixture for one. The whole job turns on whether there is a fan-rated box up there. In the postwar houses across Chamblee and Smyrna there usually is not, so it gets braced first and then it never wobbles.

An outlet that will not reset, one that quietly stopped working, or a kitchen and bathroom that never got GFCI protection because the house predates the requirement. That last one covers a lot of metro Atlanta.

Level 2 home charging, installed and inspected. Tesla and every major J1772 unit. The two questions that decide how it goes are how far the panel is from where the car parks, and whether the panel has room, and both can usually be answered from a photo.

The fixture that has been in a box in the garage since you moved in, a doorbell that stopped, a circuit that trips every time the space heater goes on. One visit, one invoice, instead of four different trades.
Outlet dead? Fan wobbling?
Electrical problems don't get better on their own, and some of them get dangerous. Call and describe it.

Usually not. Most of the time it is one tripped GFCI upstream that everything else on that circuit runs through, and it is almost always in a garage, a bathroom or an exterior wall where nobody thinks to look. It is worth a phone call before anyone starts talking about a panel.
A service upgrade, a new subpanel or anything that needs a permit pulled goes to a licensed electrical contractor, and we will say so. Ceiling fans, GFCI and switch repair, light fixtures, recessed cans and EV charger installs are ours.
Yes. The thing that decides how the job goes is the run from your panel to where the car actually parks, plus whether the panel has room. Tell us what the panel looks like and where you park, and we can usually tell you on the phone how it will go.
It depends on the job and the county. Fans, fixtures, outlets and switch work generally do not need one. A new 240V circuit for an EV charger often does, and when it does we pull it and handle the inspection. A service upgrade or a new subpanel is a licensed electrical contractor's job, and we will say so on the call. A service upgrade or a new subpanel is not, and we will tell you that on the call rather than after we are in your attic.
