Half the outlets in my kitchen died on a Sunday and I assumed it was a whole panel thing. He found a burned GFCI in the garage in about ten minutes, replaced it, then tested every outlet on that circuit before leaving. Charged me for the one part and the visit. I've already given his number to two neighbors.
Water was coming up through the baseboard in the hallway and two plumbing companies quoted me a $250 diagnostic just to show up. These guys asked me to text a photo, told me on the phone it sounded like a supply line behind the guest bath, and that's exactly what it was. Fixed the same afternoon and showed me the pressure test before he packed up.
Brown stain on the living room ceiling after the AC line backed up. What I appreciated is that he checked whether it was still wet before touching the drywall instead of just patching over it. Cut out the bad section, matched the texture, and honestly I can't find the seam now. Two visits because he let the primer cure properly.
Before You Call
That is most of what we do. A single dead outlet, one running toilet, a doorknob hole. The reason those jobs go unfixed for a year in metro Atlanta is that a specialist contractor will not send a truck for one of them, and you should not have to book four trades to get four small things done.
Yes, and it is the whole point of calling one number. If the fan is wobbling, the guest bath faucet drips and there is a patch in the hallway ceiling, that is one visit and one person, not three appointments across three weeks.
Describe it on the call, or text a photo. Anything that needs a permit pulled, a sewer line, a roof, a panel upgrade or a load-bearing wall goes to a licensed specialist and we will say so straight away. Everything short of that is usually ours.
Atlanta, Decatur, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Smyrna, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Lawrenceville and Duluth. Most days the truck runs a loop through two or three of those, so same-week is normal. If you are just outside, call and ask. It takes ten seconds and we would rather tell you no on the phone than waste your afternoon.
Carpentry, doors and floors. The jobs that go on the same visit.
Sticking doors, dead outlets, cracked ceilings, gutters that overflow. If it's broken and it's in your house, it starts with the same call.
